Agreed.  With the exception of Riverdale which I'm not sure about just yet, the rest of the games are truly no more than an opportunity to improve.  Vast majority of the starters will never see the 4th quarter for the rest of the regular season.  And probably most of the playoffs.

You never really appreciate all the garbage Maryville and Alcoa puts up with until your on that level. Everyone loves to talk about the kids that have transferred to Oakland, no one talks about the ones that transfer out

Might have to amend that if Oakland goes through with scheduling LA. Riverdale will keep it close enough where it's probable that the starters play the whole game

You are correct on the transfer outs. I am curious - who are the difference makers, or starters that have transferred out of Oakland and where did they land? Just the last two or three years if you have that information.

Justice Dingle (Out of State), Brandon Connard ( Riverdale), Robby & Bobby Washington (Out of State-although they only played freshmen ball). Dre Litaker (Riverdale) was a little bit longer ago. Losing Corn Elder to Ensworth in the early Aughts possibly cost us a state championship. That's just off the top of my head, if I went dug a little bit, I'm sure more would come to mind

That's a pretty solid list. I remember Corn very well. Is he playing in the league after his Miami playing day?
