Y to the I to the K to the E to the S...YIKES... YIKES YIKES!!!

Coach Gaddis is saying the Running Game is the most important aspect of the game and that the Warren guy is the best  Prep offensive linemen he has seen play.

This makes me scream YIKES, because I have been holding the OR Def as the key to the game. Maybe we can win the running game but that will be hard.

Is the "Warren guy" Walter Nolen?  Cause that's who you're referring to than yes, that dude is a monster.  He will demolish our "O-line" all night.

Could be talking about his younger brother Warren, who is a freshman OT. That kid has been incredible this year. He's going to be playing P5 football when all is said and done.

Very true, didn't think of that, but he was referring to their d-line and run stopping ability.   You coming to the game nut?

Probably not, cat. My girls still have an early bedtime. In a year or two that'll change. I'm anxious to start attending games again!

@SweetScience what's the status on Rogers? Will he be eligible at any point this year? I just don't understand this Oak Ridge team. All the talent in the world with 7, 1, 13 and Elijah. I know the OL is struggling but with those skill bodies and that defense, you would think that they would eventually start to click. I hate to see such talent wasted.

Preaching to the choir buddy.  We are just used to bad lines and underutilized talent.  It's what we do.

    • Looks like South Pittsburg added some more talent!
    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
