I saw that. Really shocked at the spread. I hope there right, but I think it will be a little tighter than that. What you think Stacmot?

I was surprised by the Sun's prediction as well. Not that I think Hardin Co. can't do it, I just wouldn't place any bets on a 25 point spread when 2 big rivals get together with the region championship on the line.

This is a big game, and Lexington has lost the big games (South Gibson, Riverside, Haywood) this season.  The teams they have beaten (Liberty, McNairy, Westwood) have a 1-16 record.

I don't think McClaine is putting up the numbers he did last year.  Haywood completely shut down the Big Red Tigers' rushing game.  I believe McClain had a 11 yards on 13  carries against the Tomcats.  Lexington was more successful with their passing game, but the Tigers still came up scoreless in the game with Haywood.

I believe Hardin Co. has a stronger OL and DL.  The Maroon and Grey Tigers have a more balanced offense, but that passing game is deadly!  I would hate to have to defend against it.

I'll still go with Massey, HC 28-14.

Side Notes:

Sonny Moore gives HC a 19 point advantage.

Liberty's one win was a forfeit against Bolivar.  That means Lexington's 3 wins this year have been against teams that have not won a single game on the field.

Liberty:   is averaging 0 ppg while giving up an average of 53.8 (Lex. defeated Liberty (62-0)
McNairy:  is averaging 2.3 ppg while giving up an average of  39.3 (Lex. defeated McNairy 41-0)
Westwood:  is averaging 2 ppg while giving up an average of 48.5 (Lex. defeated WW  56-8)

Look up HFA, and you will see the logo for the Hardin Co. Tigers.  Lol.  Jim Carroll Stadium should be rocking Friday night!

Lexington DB’s look pretty good in pass coverage? Like I say I ain’t seen them play at all this year. I’m hoping our run D can keep McClaine in check somewhat.

They are decent, we dropped a lot of passes against Lexington. Pope will be doubled the same way they doubled our jaylen Lewis. So their will be holes

The Jackson Sun is going with the Tigers from Hardin Co.  Hardin Co. 42, Lexington 17

The eye of the Tiger is definitely on Savannah this week, and Cal Preps sez...Hardin Co. Tigers 31, Lexington Tigers 10.  The general consensus seems to be a 2 to 3 TD win for the HC Tigers.  Hope y'all can get some revenge for 2020 @Tigersandcats
