Marion comes in to this matchup with a lot hype and probably will be favored by a lot on these boards, but I’m telling you I wouldn’t bet against the Purple Tigers!!!

 

Offense has done a 180 and are putting up points in large numbers. You add that to an already stellar D and we are going to be tough to handle!

 

Should be a great game!!

I think this will be a great game, but, anyone that picks Marion in anything more than a one score game is oblivious to football ! I get it Marion has some flash but the Waterboys will bring the  freakin wood on D !!!! I will get out in front of everyone on this thread and say Watertown by 10 !

Huntingdon is earily similar, we went in and got stomped by a team that has no where near the athletes , they punched us in the mouth and beat us fair and square ! There could be some insane storylines  a comin in 2A ! What a great year

Not a lie told here. I’m proud of these kids and am really proud of this coaching staff!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
