True matchups mean a ton, but would you look at us region 4 guys, no one expected this

This is true in part because people were looking at polls and other people gas their teams up on Coach T!

I will admit though,  that after I seen us in the Jamboree I wouldn’t believe we would’ve made the playoffs!

So now y’all are claiming that Tyner and Meigs aren’t very good??  Meigs hadn’t lost at home since 2017.

Not claiming that at al actually… I’m saying we may of been a little better than both…

Streaks are made to be broken and I think one gets broke Friday.

Here we go again. I bet TC winning tonight ruined ole ghosty's night . Good job Jackets.

I already said earlier this week that TC kicks it up a notch in the playoffs but I still do not know what team will show up on Friday.

If you guys lose, it'll be excuses until August.

Make sure the boys practice.

Make sure you have that "We don't have Calhoun" excuse handy.

Make sure you get those "Fire Blake Satterfield" websites webhosted.

Make sure you get the "offense is outdated" post geared up.

And for the love of god, make sure you have everyone locked an loaded on how many gold balls, and how many semifinals you've been to because that really matter this year.

Maybe next year you guys need to cut teachers salaries back down to under 30,000 grand so you can get recruiters for those Gordonsville and Lebanon kids.

This is ALL your town has, enjoy it.

No businesses, no tax base, no tourism.

Just mediocre football which most of your people are bored with.

In all honesty I don’t follow the East enough to give a great big ole opinion of this sliggfest that is coming, I will ask if it has been the scenario of H/O winning regular season and TC winning in the playoffs correct ? Also the regular is usually very close and this year was a more dominant Watertown win ? This game,if I didn’t have a vested interest in City and the Rebels would be my must see game !!!! I will say this and mean it , I like TC and their history, I love Watertown’s story line this year , to me what they have done  is astonishing ! I have so much respect for TC and your posters but I really hope to see a Watertown Gold Ball ! And yes I said that over the West teams

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
