Thanks for doing the rankings, but  Kodiak’s last name is spelled Cannedy and it is Carson Dupil at 106

still sleeping on Colin Dupil.  He just took 8th and 4th at a couple of the toughest In season HS tourneys around and he was a NHSCA finalist this year. He also beat the #17 flo ranked kid twice at Beast of the East. The kid is good!!

Max is gonna hurt some upperclassmen's feelings come February. Not saying I think he beats Belcher this yr, but everyone else could be fair game.

Gavin Armstrong of Dobyns Bennett had a good tournament to at 120. Made it to the semis but got beat by a defending state champion 13-3 Lost his next match to a kid that finished 2nd in states 11-3. He won his 5th place match 9-2.

Reese Levendusky from Montgomery Central is being overlooked at 132 for the TSSAA A Rankings. He's 24-1 on the season and has head to heads against #2 Carter Cisco and #6 Jordan Gainey. He was the Section 4 Class A champ last year and beat Cisco in the semis of that event. He beat Gainey last year by fall and beat him again last weekend by first period fall in the finals of the Bruise Brothers Brawl in Springfield. In fact, Levendusky scored a first period fall in every match last weekend. His only loss this year is a major decision to returning state medalist Russell Ford. Every other win he has this year is a bonus win (major or fall). His only losses at State last year were to two state medalists. One of the matches was a 6-3 loss in a highly competitive match with #4 (at 138) Cooper Johnson. Please make sure Reese is on your radar for the next ranking. Thank you!

Reese, as WG already stated, you're little late for this thread. Hamm's rankings are fun to look at for discussion purposes but mean absolutely nothing come February. Keep beating the kids you're supposed to and picking off the ones ranked above you. Eventually you'll be ranked. You may even have to wait until February, but those are the only rankings that matter anyway. Good Luck Reese. All of South MontCo is pulling for you!

Ranked third on Rank Wrestlers for 1A behind Caleb Uhorchuk and Andy Cable.  Pin-TN is only solid for the top guys as they are typically easy to identify beyond that it gets messy.

Conversely, Rank gets messy for the top .5% because they travel and don't have many shared opponents with others in TN or don't wrestle much in TN.

Haha I guess I missed the year of the thread & ranking! Oops. Thanks for pointing that out and sorry. This isn't Reese by the way, it's one of his coaches. We know on one hand rankings don't matter and he probably cares less than anyone. We talk about that often. That said, recognition is nice when a kid is deserving and rankings really need to be well-researched and accurate. I'm actually on ranking committees for both FloWrestling and USA Wrestling for HS, college & senior level rankings. It's very hard, thankless work. We lament how easy the top 5 is on one hand, but how hard 6-10 can be on the other hand, so I can appreciate the comment that below the top few it can be messy *and* I'm appreciative of anyone willing to work on this. That said, considering the names on this season's rankings since preseason, Reese is well-deserving to be among them as he has head to heads over some guys on the list, and he did enough last year to warrant attention with a 30-7 final record, section title, and solid matches at State. That said, just wanted a platform to give feedback and advocate for one of ours, so there it is! Thanks again guys.
