I am so sick of this transport portal and name likeness garbage in college football and see it as the ruination of the sport in the long run.

I’ll play along. No, it’s not the refs…lol. It’s the rules. If you don’t want the QBs hit, then make it “in the grasp” for them all the time. Something else, this bs about running along the sideline and stepping out of bounds right before the defender hits you to draw penalty is a bunch of crap. You should be able to hit those guys as long as they are within a couple yards of the field of play. They need to either get out of bounds early or get down. Last one, the pick play. It’s fairly obvious when it occurs and should be an offensive penalty. Happy Festivus!

Too many state champions in such a talent poor state. Go back to 3 classes and combine the public and private schools.

Hate to say it but I think 4 classes are fine for public and keep private like they are and separate

Actually in the recruiting classes from 2016-2020 the State of Tennessee was ranked 10th in the country in number of 4 and 5 star recruits. High school football in this state is the best it has ever been.

I’m not sure you would want to cut back quite that far. But, it is ridiculous that both Georgia and Florida have one less state champion than Tennessee.

He’s correct. It has changed tremendously from when I was in Tennessee. In those days, even Kentucky put out more D1’s than we did.
