Props to Coach Chambers. At the start of the season, all those underclassmen couldn't play dead in a cowboy movie, even against mediocre competition. Now, while still pretty anemic on offense aside from Ramsey, he's got those young girls playing some defense.

 

I really like Matt and he's a spectacular coach, all the same though, I still feel the best coach in the conference is Kenneth.

With Buchanan, Matt, Carp, and chambers that might be the best coaching district in the whole state. Boys and girls

I've been a Lamar Rogers fan for years.  That man loves clarkrange girls basketball.

Yepp have been able to watch his team play in person at Clarkrange and it’s such a unique and fun environment to play in.

It was an ugly loss to gate city tonight.  45-27.  Our freshman was the best player tonight and she played most of the jv game.  #3 and #4 love the game and play with passion.  They listen to their coach and play through mistakes.  I'm not giving up on the season yet.

I saw where NG took SG to the wire tonight.  It looks like James has his troops ready for the tournament.

IMO Newport got out-coached. After Rogersville hit their 6th or 7th uncontested 3, you think they would have gotten out of the zone forced them to play more in the paint. Didn't help that Newport was stone cold from outside. There was a lid on their basket.

Yeah, its strange that the Carter girl wasn't knocking down 3's.  Last year, Newport was beating rogersville city by 40.  I wonder if they got a transfer or if they just got that much better from last year.
