Boone Vs Cherokee

Is this even going to be a game? Boone is ranked #6 in Class 5A now, Cherokee is 0-2.  As long as Boone stays healthy, and doesn't underestimate their opponents this team should do well this season.  This will be their first conference matchup.

Nothing but respect for Cherokee, but if Boone cannot win this one then we just need to hang up the season and get ready for basketball.

Since running clock engages at 30 points now, I'll say Boone wins by 50 instead of 60+.

I hope that's not the case, I have never seen Boone intentionally run up the score.    And who knows, if our players start reading their own press this could be a trap game.

Not a trap game. Boone could have a bad game and still win.

Boone wins, they know what they have to do.  Seems like everyone top to bottom knows what they have to do every week.  Win it and move on.

Boone by whatever they choose. The only thing bad that could happen is an unforseen injury. I'm not trying to jinx. Hope it's a clean game all the way around.

Agreed. Friday night Boone could have scored at will. QB only made one pass attempt after that first score in the 3rd. I don't think the skill starters even played in the 4th Q. Boone will do enough to have a comfortable lead and then protect their players and avoid injury. Jenkins doesn't seem to be big on padding a player's stats.

Cherokee is awful. Boone must be pretty good
