You are judging how a team will play in games that won't happen for another 4-8 weeks.  Rebels can't get better??  Gel as a defense??  It's just week 2 and their All-State middle linebacker is out and hasn't played yet.  He is one of the leaders of the defense and you can't put a value on what he will bring to the confidence of the defense once he's back out there plus what he will do himself statistically.  Saw where you questioned the rebs on another board.  You a hater bro?

You need to re- read my post. My comparison was in the present tense of right now  after watching all 3 teams play. I was just making an observation about what I saw from Mck. and I why I thought they were pretty much even w/ PHS and DHS right now.  Never said they wouldn't or couldn't get better you came up with that yourself. That is not hating on anybody fella it is just an observation. That is what this board is about I thought making observations and discussing  don't just call me a hater make a point and tell me why you disagree. any way you re-read my post below.

I have to respectfully disagree. I think right now PHS and Dresden D-Lines will be able to put pressure on the Rebs just like SP did last yr. I watched their game against Chester Co on NFHS and I also think they could have trouble against a power running game that goes right at them - plus their leading tackler from last year has yet to see the field not sure if he is even playing. I just think it is real even b/w the 3 right now

Glad to read all homies supporting their team(s). LUV IT! It will be quite a competitive year in small-town football! All over the state! Could there be a cinderella, underdog, dark-horse team win it all? .. Anything’s always possible. Maybe not probable, but possible! And happens almost every week! All I wanna say is: GO DRESDEN LIONS! #1 ALL THE WAY!

McCreary is back tonight, and we also get Jose Luna back who has been injured since last year.

    • Tough situation.  Not sure the ROI is there right now.   Might be better options that are cheaper.
    • Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.
    • So who are the new additions to the staff? Serious answers only please.
    • Its always interested to see the state teams the following summer after losing or not losing seniors and getting freshman and transfers. It's almost time.
    • Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.
