Greenback Travels to the Wonderful,Wonderful World of OZ

We must stay on the Yellow brick road or we will get it ran down our throats!OZ is BIG and our boys are little.Looks like OZ is playing alot of youth also.We had five Freshmen on offense most of the Webb game and thankfully Webb had mercy on us it could have been 70 to 0.Im not sure how this will go but we do have some playmakers and our young line plays hard.I like our chances but dang it's hard to play in the Emerald City!The home folks can get a little Rowdy.OZ seems to have a couple kids that can cause some of rowdiness on the field also.Our depth is gone so I pr2ay we can withstand this one for any chance of a 2 or 3 seed.

Gonna be a dog fight. I’m pulling for y’all but you’re gonna have to play a good defensive ball game. They grind the clock well. We only had the ball13 minute’s. They’ve got some speed to so they will occasionally try to catch a DB looking in the backfield and take a shot. I think y’all can get the win but this one makes me a little nervous.

Oliver Springs has gone back to Frank Johnson ball.  He loved to grind and make sure the hogs were fed well.

Oz not too bad but lack of discipline was a HUGE factor in the loss to Oneida. They get a good play and a 1st down in the red zone and had to yak and set um back 15 yards, Think a few words of wisdom and a few updowns might cure some of it.

Also at OZ and they HATE us over there,gonna be a hostile environment as usual.

This might motivate the boys in Greenback...

A Facebook post on East TN Sports on Sunday (9/11/22) listed the 2A power rankings. A comment by coach Daniels OS assistant coach, "I really feel like we can beat Greenback Friday. I've seen them on film. I'm not sure how they are going to handle our size. Plus, I think we hate them more or the same as anyone else in the district."

Seems like the coaching staff shouldnt be talking to social media
