There are 7 teams that reported enrollment in 2020 that have not reported enrollment this year: bluff city high School, Fairly High School, Germantown High School, Hillcrest High School, Memphis Academy of Health Science, Soulsville Charter School, and Zion Christian Academy. There are also a ton of new schools reporting. 44 schools are on this list that were not on the last list. some are junior high schools, some preps, some academies, some etc... Not sure how that impacts the classes though. Here is link to both 2020 and current 2022 schools. the 2020 has enrollment numbers but the 2022 does not have numbers just schools that have reported.

MAHS is no longer a school, Zion Christian is no longer in the TSSAA pool, not sure if the school closed or if they just left the association. Even though they have to get the number, Germantown could easily just be thrown into 4A/6A. So basically just waiting on those 4 schools, 5 counting Germantown.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
