I have because it’s the truth have you guys won a state championship ? Riverside is a good team the competition in the area is weak. Your schedule is weak. You got beat by a better team when Huntingdon showed I’m sure Huntingdon had something to do with those turnovers.

Time will tell my friend

you say that every year boss

Riverside Huntingdon was decided by turnovers and stangs cashing in on them

look forward to playing them again soon

I agree that mistakes kept the Panthers from having a chance to win. This game should have come down to the wire. Think the Mustangs would still have pulled it out because they were stronger in the 4th qt. Sure hope we get a rematch.

looking foward to a potential rematch.. would be back at Paul Ward Stadium if we are able to make it that far in the playoffs..

It will be UC/ Huntingdon hosting  Parsons regardless.

Its rough defending the offense you guys run for 4 quarters. Especially now since most teams only defend it once a year or never. 20 years ago in tn most teams ran 90-95 % now they don’t

I agree Huntingdon offense is simple but complicated to defend you must have edge discipline or they will burn you as they did with us

you get caught up in all the inside reads then bam they catch you looking in and they bust one on the edge

I just want to point out that excluding Fayetteville, opponent records of teams #10 Lewis County have played is a combined 7-23. What that means is, excluding Fayetteville (who drubbed Lewis County again this year) those teams have only won seven games COMBINED. Together, they have lost 23!

Good to see Hohenwald break back into the top 10 after being out for more than a year now. If I remember correctly, they began the season ranked as they usually do but were knocked out of the top 10 after the Fayetteville game last year.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
