Good point. I have always called Daniel Boone, Boone till this year.  I need to revert back to calling them Boone again but add Mister in front of Boone.

Oakland lost to a private school. They can still easily cruise through the bracket against public schools.

It was a 4 and 3 private.... It's not about who... its about the fact that they can be beat... Kids just needed to see it could be done.  Not saying it will happen again, but it sure helps to create a sense of confidence that it can be. If you believe you can or if you believe you can't it changes how you play . Thats what I am saying

Region 1 is pretty much hosed across the board in all classes except 4A.     Let's see....

6A is always going to end at Maryville.
5A always ends at Knox West or Knox Central.
3A always ends at Alcoa.
2A.... well Hampton made it all the way last year and they should get to at least round 3 this time.
1A always ends at Midway or Coalfield.

Pretty much yeah. Only contenders around here are E town and Greeneville.

Friday night could also be wild in region 2-6A. If I have it figured right, Maryville must beat Bradley Central on the road to finish 1st in the region. How hurt is Vaughn? Bradley beat Cleveland, which gave Maryville their loss. Bearden and Farragut could be for 1st place. If I'm wrong, someone correct me!
