These people keep teams ahead of other teams whom they have lost decisively too. They must not read the paper of the hargis man.

Golly gee whillakers.. what a group of tough teams out here in the West. Dude!! Whichever one of us wins out this bracket, man we will have done something! Hope we don’t play ourselves out & drain the tank before getting to finals, or be so battered & busted up that the key players & several stud reserves aren’t full-steam. But, if so, that’s part of it, right? Next man up! Here’s your chance guys.. go for it! ‘Tis one of countless reasons why I LUV football!

It usually dies down towards the end of the regular season.  Folks have region finishes & playoff seedings at the forefront of their brains.

true. at this point it's useless. the season will play out into the playoffs and we'll have our results.

True plus the new classes were just released. That's got a lot of talk around it, always does.

Like southtowner said peoples focusing on playoffs and region seedings. Plus the new classification release. Personally I think after week 7 or so we have our minds pretty made up with a few exceptions.

The one thing that stands out to me this year in the Class 1A poll  is the AP voters had MASE already plugged in at #4 with a 1st place vote in week 1.  

My point being, I don't think I've seen a team finish so low the year before and then be ranked so high the following year.

Explain this to me .Nothing against teams in the top 10.But how in the world would McEwen be picked over Lake Co?They lost to Dresden which I understand.Lake Co loses to Haywood.So who lost to a tougher team? McEwen lost to Camden.Lake Co lost to Union City.Who lost to better team?McEwen lost to Gleason.Lake Co lost to Trenton.Who lost to stronger team?Both at 5-3 from What I saw in standings.Am I missing something?LC scrimmage Camden and won about 8tds to 1.That shows voters have no clue comparing McEwen losses to Lake County's.
