This entire thread just shows how pitiful this place is when Forrest is terrible. Some of the worst posts I've ever seen. @Salem tried to bring some common sense.

Very few if any schools on this board have a 1-2 punch like the two of us. We cheer but we are also objective. We outline X and O stuff, behind the scenes, and the emotional parts too like motivating kids, etc. Doesn't matter if you admit it publicly or not. Deep down you know it's true.

My first three years teaching was in chapel hill.  Great folks, crappy political crap.   Too bad.  They get some great talent in that area.  Go rockets!

If overseeing this group with this schedule to a 3-7 record isn't enough to warrant change I'm looking into the CoachTFan transfer portal.  Dead last in the region in scoring defense and second to last in offense and point differential.  Summertown shouldn't count because their coach left in week 2. There are youth rec teams in Lewisburg who wouldn't tolerate this.

I hope that's not the case.  It's been unpleasant as all get out but we have Coach Eli himself to thank for that. The kids deserve better, the fans deserve better. The majority of the fan base privately hates the job he's done, but is staying the course because they feel "most" approve of his job. It's the opposite. So many teams reload with new coaches, and quickly. There is no reason to hang on to this awful hire.
