This would make most sense to me:

2022-2023

Cook = Head Coach

Macmahon = Offensive Coordinator

2023-2024 and beyond

Randolph comes back after son graduates, gets head coach and administrative position he wants, Cook back to defensive coordinator (next in line when Randolph retires), Macmahon stays as offensive coordinator.

the community adores all 3 of these guys!

I wouldn't mind having all three of those guys back but Cook would be the head coach for the 2023 season since Randolph's son would graduate in 24.  If Cook did move to coach for the '23 season, who would you have fill in as Defensive Coordinator during that season?

My years were off, you are correct first group would be 23-24.

Cook can be head coach and defensive coordinator that year, if it’s too much, let Coach C be Defensive coordinator.

Thats right...keep those outsiders out!

If he aint from here, he dont need to be here!

You people are something else...

It’s not about keeping outsiders out! It’s about coming up with a plan that leaves the door open for Randolph to come back when his son graduates. He built the football culture at Cornersville! We understand and support his decision but if there is any way to get him back we will take that in a heartbeat! Any other coach that comes in is going to want at least a two year contract, which would complicate his return if there was any chance of it happening.

I know one thing , I’ve heard out of McMahons mouth that he would give Ben the ball more than 10 times a game unlike the last 2 coordinators have. He said it would be 20+ times a game on average. I think he still a little upset he didn’t get to call plays 2 years ago, as on why he didn’t coach this past year. They should be all in on getting him back out there.

If mcmahon isn’t calling the plays next year, we are not attending the games. The kid is ready to call plays and Ben would benefit with him without a doubt.

He should've been the HC over this last clown but guess they didn't want a youth movment?J ust curious if he were to come back and be the OC would he have the time to be the girls head basketball coach still? Would he be willing to give it up just to be the OC? Have heard granted no games have been played yet but that program has taken some huge steps forward since he has taken that job.

All jokes aside, I would be beating the door down for Hayden. He is a young guy who is going to be at Cornersville the rest of his days most likely. He has coached these kids in JR high and high school. He loves the community. He went out and worked under a hall of fame coach with Coach Pemberton at Rhea Co and learned alot there and spent time under Randolph. The kids love the guy, the community loves the guy. I feel like this is a simple hire but what do I know?

I agree but common sense ain't so common these days. Hopefully they havent burnt that bridge. Young innovated mind and passionate are a really good combo on top of relatability to this new generation of kids.

    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe….i drove the lawnmower down to practice today…….hmmmm…… we got some new faces………. One can run faster than my lawnmower in fifth gear…… a few will be disappointed come November that they jumped ship and went down to that sewage facility……. You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.
    • Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
