I think Huntingdon will roll in this one. They have proven several times this year they can move the ball through the air when needed and it really made the difference against UC last night. Hopefully Huntingdon can get a lead and use it to get some good reps in on plays we may need in round 2. The last 5-7 years have shown us that we cannot make it to state being one-dimensional on offense.  We had the defense to take us there last year,  but the offense faltered against a super athletic defense in MAHS. Westview was able to beat them by being able to stretch out that defense with Ty Simpson and Co. We will never be that type of offense, but if we can make the DBs and LB's stay honest with the threat of the pass, it will only make us better.

This Huntingdon team finished at 8-2 with losses only to what I consider the #1 team in 1A and the #2 team in 2A. If you polled the Huntingdon fans,  90% of them would have considered this a 6 win team at most. These guys have really overachieved all year, imo. The improvements we've made since week 2 have been phenomenal. Hopefully we keep riding that wave and make a bit of a run the next few weeks.

Either way, it gives us a lot of hope for the next few years as this is a sophomore-heavy team.

Mustangs should have no problem this week. Definitely can not take Mitchell for granted , as they have came in and pulled off the upset at Paul Ward Stadium In 2013 I do believe.... Mustangs win by 3-4 TD's and shift focus on to Memphis Fairley in round 2.

Here is to hoping Mitchell brings their band :)

I wouldn’t say 2013 was a upset. ‘13 team was pretty bad.

If Camden beats Fairley I’ll take back everything bad I’ve ever said about those people.

Hey, I'm hoping that they do! If they can throw the ball on them, they may have a chance. I don't know anything about Fairley really or any of their opponents, so I wonder how their secondary is. May be pretty good, I don't know, but camden has shown they can throw and catch. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure Fairley will get the win.
