I know Greenback seems to have a good defense and the offense has a tendency to disappear. I think it comes down to whether or not they can shut down our skill guys in the passing game and how well they can run the ball with power. I don’t think they will live in the backfield and pressure Ramsey, and he has an impressive arm and can make some throws when you think the play should be dead at that point. The line is definitely the weak spot, but we are okay in pass protect most of the time. Unaka definitely improved since that Harlan game, but I think their ability to do those two things will determine the outcome. 

I’m really proud for the opportunity Unaka has. Those kids have endured being considered a cupcake for decades. I was born and raised on the creek although work took me away 25yrs ago. I appreciate your analysis and I’m thinking they have a real shot in this one. And yea Hampton is a different animal this year. I’ll be pulling for the Carter Co Boys come Friday.

I wish we had other posters for this game but they arent around much.I think it will be hard for us to win this one.The emotions and home field should help Unaka pull out a win.

I believe Unaka has something to prove this year and will be more determined than in previous years. If they play smart and up to their potential,  I look for Unaka to win by 10 at home. If they do win, I think it will help pull more kids in on the creek.

More like 20.  It's 16 miles from cland to Elizabethton and about 4 more up stoney creek

I was just guessing.I knew it was just past Hampton a ways.Maybe 10 past Hampton. In 2020 we came back and watched Hampton and Oneida play after we blew out Unaka at the half.

Won’t be worth stopping by Hampton this year I’m afraid.

Anyone that maybe headed up the creek to Unaka, I believe they do not have visitor side seating.  Last time I was there, Creekers on left side and visitors on right.

Correct but they do have quite a bit of seating.
