Not really, but I thought you might be a little optimistic.  You never know on any given Friday night what might happen!

I’ve watched both. Not being mean but I think Hampton would beat coalfield by 21-28. We weren’t able to do anything offensively or defensively against coalfield. Barely anything against any region team other than wartburg. Nearly let sequoyah beat us. You say I’m negative but I’m fairly positive about this outcome.

Your being awful negative this year.

He is like me just being truthful. If we didnt have a chance I wouldnt go to be honest but I like to visit with King,91 and some of the others if we have a chance to.Also we have a chance to win but if we rely on our regular offensive scheme they will beat us in the end.I hope not i HATE giving teams who have never beaten us a chance to.They have a really good shot with the way he calls an offense.

Correct but they do have quite a bit of seating.

I stood on the visitors side of fence as usual. They have a nice little place there and the folks we very cordial. The announcers mic quit working and me a GFD helped them get it rewired.I enjoyed it last time but we were up by about 50 in 3rd and went to Hampton to visit with Lee.

Thats where I always stand but you can see the game better on the hill near the stands.

You have a chance but don't think it will be easy.

I guess folks would rather I lied about the way I see it. Sure hate that they’re gonna be disappointed. I’ll tell you if I think we’ll cow stomp you like I did you this year. I’ll also tell you if I think we’re gonna get cow stomped like last week and this one coming. If I’m wrong I’ll own it. I was bad wrong when we played y’all. I was dead on about coalfield. We’ll soon see about Hampton but I’m betting I’m right there also. I still love my Indians but I’m not gonna blow sunshine when it’s actually night time.

Nothing wrong with your post.  Hampton is a lot better than coalfield.  I didn't think you had much of a chance last year either.  Their defense has been unusually great the past 2 seasons

I was just messing with ya, I'd have the same attitude too.

    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
