9-2 Huntingdon travels to 11-0 Memphis Fairley. Going by box scores Fairley has only been tested 1x against Oakhaven. They've scored a ton of points against weak Memphis schools. Did give up 33 to a bad Camden team. Huntingdon has to travel to Memphis just like last year. What stadium will this be played at? Does Fairley have their own field at their school? Mustangs have gotten better every week. I'll take the Stangs by 2 TDs. I said the same thing last year against MAHS

Our coaching staff hasn’t received much praise on this site. Yes, there have been questionable play calls in big moments in the past. However, I think they have done a great job this season. They have shown confidence in this young teams play making abilities and it has paid off so far. Keep this train rolling!!!!!!!

I agree. I've said multiple times this year that this team has over achieved all season. That reflects directly on the good coaching job this staff has done this year. Still some questionable play calls at times and Swenson gets a little stubborn on offense, but he's done a much better job of letting these guys make plays in the pass game earlier in series and earlier in the game vs getting down and behind the chains in the 2nd half before throwing out of desperation..

The pass game is responsible for at least 2-3 of our wins this year. We would not have beaten trenton or UC without it.  And maybe even Milan.

For the entirety of last week, The potential game against Fairley made me nervous.

Today I feel alot better about our success this week. I just dont see Fairley being able to stop our offense in the trenches. If we were unable to pass any, I would say we might be in a little trouble. Swenson's playbook this year might be as balanced as I have ever seen it. Expecting a huge game from Gray Eubanks and Ashton Hutcherson this week.

Prediction:

Huntingdon - 47

Fairley - 22

Anyone know where this game will be played? I haven’t heard anything yet

Knowing based off where Fairley is located, could be at JP Freeman or Whitehaven. I believe they're just a block away from JP Freeman. I'm speculating, but they're in South Memphis, basically right on the state line. So, be prepared for that.

The Fairley/Camden game last week was at JP Freeman.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
