Going to the Quarterfinals we find 6 of the 8 1 seeds remaining.  Blackman (2) and Germantown (4).

Big matchups.

Quad 1-Science Hill at Maryville 

Quad 2-Blackman at Oakland 

Quad 3-Beech at Cane Ridge

Quad 4-Germantown at Bartlett 

Those are some quality teams that all have a chance this week.

I am not sure they can do that, Oakland's defense appears to have improved as the year has progressed.  However, this is not the dominant defense that they have had in previous years.  Blackman will have a chance to do damage if they develop a solid game plan.  You have to match the physicality of Oakland's if you want to be successful.  Just ask CPA.

This is one I’ve been keeping an eye on all season.  I won’t be surprised to see either in Chattanooga.

It was good enough to hold Blackman to 18 the first time. Only points Lebanon scored were off special teams and only had 5 first downs. That's pretty dominant 

Blackman is to be congratulated for getting to this point. They've won several games this year that they would have no doubt lost in previous seasons, that's a pretty big step forward.

That said, their defense is gonna have to raise their level of play several notches for Blackman to have a chance in this game. Easy said than done matching Oakland in the trenches, ask Maryville

Two things that you may have forgotten.  Oakland has not played Maryville this year, and this isn't the same Oakland defense as last year.  Not saying Blackman is going to win hands down, but with their talent they are more than  capable of making this game.

Something you may have forgot, Blackman lost by 35 the first time. Of course it's not the same defense, but they still locked down a good team.

Not so sure Maryville gets by Science Hill this easy. Just ask Farragut!
