Coach Joe Gaddis - Oak Ridge High School...First year as an AD but has made decisions that positively affect the athletes, coaches and Oak Ridge fans world wide.

Athletes and Coaches.... Coach Gaddis is in a few Hall of Fames and is a State Championship  Coach. Yet, with those accomplishments he has stayed out of coaching the Wildcats. He allows current ORHS Coach Scott Cummings free reign over the program. This has allowed Coach Cummings to build a Football family of his making. Gaddis' hands off approach also makes it easier for the players to know who the Head Coach is.

THE Wildcat Family World Wide...Coach Gaddis has given the Voice of the Wildcats David Clary and Crew the ability to stream all Wildcats games ( baseball, football and basketball ). This means a former ORHS student serving in the Military all over the world can maintane a bit of home. Plus, the elder population who can't attend games can still be a part of Wildcat Universe.

I thought I saw where the AD from f’n hairtage just got the trophy as the best.

As hard as it is to say…the AD at alco probably should be mentioned.

Also, fairgut seems much better in every sport now.

thats just probably to help alleviate the sting when he has to let Joe O go for trying to cook and eat a player when his **** gets hot.

This last part.  Share athletes.  Support for all students,  not just football.  I don't know the guy but he's got my vote.

GT couldn't give 2 craps about anything other than football.

    • Ok l will bite. What exactly are Football Families?
    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
