Never to early to talk smack. Whose y’all early pick on who takes this Region?

1. Mustangs

2. Milan

3. Riverside

Too early... makes my head hurt just trying to pick the #1. No way I'd attempt to place them in order.

Riverside brings back 10 on offense and 8 on defense from this year’s team. They will be pretty salty. Milan and the Stanks bring back a ton as well. Any of those 3 could be the region champ.

Looks like Adamsville gonna have rough sailing in this region. Maybe they can upset Peabody.

I wouldn’t bet on that. The Cards really gonna gonna have to step it up to compete in this region.

I wonder if the Swenson comment in the riverside/huntingdon thread is true? If so, I wonder how that will affect the Mustangs in this new region. I know the talent is there, but what if the coaching isn't?

This region is going to be brutal, but fun! For me, it's kind of hard to make a list ranking this region this early. There are 5 teams in this region that will battle it out for that top spot and it will be no easy task for any of them. I really can't wait to watch these games next season!

@horse made a comment that he had heard swenson was leaving, but nothing more was said. After talking with a few friends, we think Wallace might take over as head coach if he does leave. We have no idea though, just talk. They could very well look outside of the coaching staff to find someone, idk. I know he was only on a coaching contract this year, but how long can someone coach without being a teacher? I thought most schools required the coaching staff to be a teacher or hold some sort of capacity within the school system? I think with the new region, it's going to be tough with that change at head coach.

As much as I hate to say it, Huntingdung will be fine if they get a new coach. Too much community support and pride to let that program fall off. I expect the Stanks to be really good next year no matter who is coaching. It will be a solid victory for my Dawgs…

No doubt there will be talent, but who is to say the new coach, if it happens, doesn't change up how we run our offense? Surely not if the coach is from within, but if they grab someone from the outside, it's possible. That could definitely cause some problems especially if they aren't prepared come game time. Just speculation at this point until we hear anything official. But to your point, the puppies will be lucky to finish 3rd behind us and the Panthers.
