If SP plays to their potential without shooting themselves in the foot they shouldn’t have many issues this year. I don’t know that there have been this many athletes spread across the field in a few years and behind them is youthful but strong depth. They have some soph starting up front and they looked strong last night.

As far as old rivalries, it will pretty much be Dunlap and Whitwell.  The biggest tests will be Middle TN Christian and 6A Franklin County.  Of course OZ already has a win penciled in against SP due to that Wizard man.

I was thinking the same thing. He’s never here anymore. How did we look last night?  I didn’t get to make it.

Looked pretty good. Still a lot of work to be done, but just about every team has that issue at this point. We have the skill players and the defense has a chance to be nasty. The line just needs to come along a bit. Ooltewah was playing mostly their JV against us and they were able to get some pressure. But overall I like where we stand right here at the start of the season.
