2023 Softball Predictions

Regular season is in the home stretch. Three weeks until district tournaments.

We lost our left fielder and hindcatcher to ankle injuries.  The catcher is my daughter.  She has a high ankle sprain and will miss 3 weeks.  Our left fielder had 9 screws put in her ankle this morning.  Both girls were going to make all region as freshmen.  It's killed our season

It's starting to take shape, teams are hitting their stride and some are battling injuries trying to hold on.

Cloudland in the east.  We were hoping to make school history this season and win the region but we were already down 2 starters before the season began so we'll finish the best we can

Summertown - Loretto - Giles Co  throw a blanket over them so close in talent hard to predict who comes out of that district -anyone of them could  be contenders if make it to State - don’t see any dominant teams in AA this year

Summertown survived MT Pleasant - Loretto takes care of business against Giles Co - now as pretty much always around this neck of the woods it’s Summertown vs Loretto in finals

Summertown wins in rain shortened 5 innings 3-2

Harriman at Oliver Springs and Wartburg at Midway in the Region 2A semifinals on Monday. Both should be great games.

Should be 2 quality games Loretto vs Fairview - Summertown vs Cheatham Co -neither are dominant and each are beatable on given night
