Any shocking results from region tournaments? (Kids missing weight, bumps, etc)

SD wins A-Region 4. Unfortunately one of their best potential scorers (Flavin) didn’t make weight. Gonna miss his points down the road.

A couple of upsets from the Region 4 Single A tournament…. 
 

152 - Anthony Copeland (East Ridge) pins Logan Rawlinson (Soddy Daisy) in a back and fourth semi-finals match. 
 

285 - Johnathan Davis (Soddy Daisy) pins Daniel Odom (Signal Mountain). Davis had a 4-1 lead before the pin. Odom currently leads their series 2-1 but there is a good chance that they will wrestle again in the sectional tournament next weekend.

No real surprises from region 2AA.

The kids you expected to win,  won. There was a lot of really good matches. 

At sectionals I'm looking forward to watching the 195 final again. 

106 could be a fun bracket to watch. 

184 should be a deep bracket

Will Max Norman go to the second period with anyone? 

IMO Region 2 is deeper than region 1 but region 1 will have more hammers (looking at you DB).

Region 6AA at 152 Coen Myers of Beech dec Ethan Cunningham in the region final.

Region 2 a halls had 12 in finals 8 region Champs and all 14 headed to sectioals

Posey wrestled Ellison very close at duals. Kid is forreal. After that match he became #2 in my eyes.

Posey did look good but in fairness to Bentley he was wrestling very conservatively because a simple decision locked up the team win. No need to take any risks. Plus, giving up weight to a very good kid makes that kid very, very good.

very questionable call giving Posey an escape after referee discussion to put it into OT
