Willie the Wildcat passed away

Truly one of a kind, who spoke with his heart FIRST - which is why he would quickly interject some of his off the wall takes on things and would then turn around 5 minutes later and apologize because he was worried he had offended someone. Willie and his passion for the Oak Ridge Wildcats will be missed. Prayers for his wife and family.

Yep, you explained him pretty well. He was a good hearted fella.

Willie wanted us to support Clary so badly…one of his more passionate moments. Think I’ll make a donation to the next broadcast in honor of Willie. I wish I could afford the whole thing, but TSSAA is apparently charging a lot.

Best I can figure out Steve was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in 1982. I know he came to a reunion last year. So my math sorta works out.
