If the Mullins kid from Lake County isn't the front runner for Mr.football then they need to get rid of the award. The kid from Moore County is good but Mullins is putting up huge numbers against everyone.

I wholeheartedly agree! He had more rushing yards and touchdowns against us (Dyersburg), than almost every team put together that we have played so far. He is a special talent and a very tough kid!

Go watch a game this kid has played in and you won't be laughing he has single handed kept Lake County in several games. And he turns around and plays defense.

How many Tackles, Sacks, Forced Fumbles, INTS and def td’s does he have

how many Kick return yds and Punt return yds & TD’s he have

because well Dawson has those also

Exactly lol Moore county has never even won a state championship lol they definitely don't want to compare their football history to lake county's I promise you that.

I’m not a Moore county guy patna and trust me you don’t want to compare tradition wit da school I support becuase You’ll tuck your tail and walk away.

also, remind me what past state championships and program tradition have to do wid a personal seasonal award?

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
