Hype is something that you have in the preseason. He is living up to the hype.

I understand Dawson White will probably win it because his team is undefeated but Ben is the best player in single A & does the most for his team. His defense of stats are just as good as well.

He’s good! I wouldn’t wanna tackle him. But I’ll argue Mullins from LC is a one man show for real. Franklin is a top back no doubt

Everyone knows that wouldn’t work haha. Past two games he hasn’t played but 1 series in the 2nd half and still rushed for 300+ yards in both games. That's around 18-19 yards per attempt.

Probably because your last 2 games were Gleason and Humboldt. In competitive games I've seen him with 40+ carries. Heck they even to the point where most clips I see he's even playing QB and just taking off.

They were both region games, not like LC scheduled them for easy wins. I don’t blame the coach for running the wild cat with him. It saves time on the handoff and lets him find the hole quicker. Everyone has already stated he is the only playmaker on the team. Y’all just bash the kid because of how many yards he has and try to make every excuse on why he isn’t valid for the reward. He gets the amount of carries he does because if not they wouldn’t win as many games. He truly is a game changing player.

He’s good! Big kid and really fast for his size! By no means a Calvin Mullins from LC who didn’t even make most watch lists, but the Franklin kid is legit…I’d hate to tackle him

I was talking about Maceo when he played. Was wanting to see him go against LC and Springer but LC lost to state championship team that year with basically only seconds left and that team went on and blew My.Pleasant if I remember correctly

So funny. And your running back has 1000 yards playing worse teams.Perry Co.McEwen,Bruceton.Think West Carroll has played 1 decent team.LC has played Central,Dresden,Dyersburg and Mullins still did very well.Nobody has run against Dyersburg .Get out of West Carroll and watch high school football instead of middle school football. If Mullins played against West Carroll schedule,he'd have 3000 yards.Perry Co 2 wins.Bruceton 1 win.Gibson Co 1 win,McEwen 1 win.Wow.Killer schedule and you wanna bash a player and ur boy should had over 1000 yards against just those 4 teams. And I notice West Carroll lost to A team that was beaten by about 40 points by JCS.The same JCS LC plays next.

Seriously. All true football fans. What do you think of West Carrolls schedule. Are they a top 10 team? Top 15?.LC plays unbeaten JCS  next and Union City last game.Losses to Central,Dresden,Dyersburg,Probably JCS and Union City to finish 5 and 5.West Carroll probably finish 8 and 2 .Probably will meet in playoffs.I think LC would win but never know. But by looking at schedules.Would you pick 5 and 5 LC or 8 and 2 West Carroll.Just Curious.

Again.Another dumb statement.Just like West Carroll,LC has no control about teams in their region. But still dumb comment.Gleason beat Perry Co and Bruceton, two teams on your so called tough schedule..And LC scored 62 on Gleason.

I wonder how he'd do if we fed him the ball 50 times a game hmm

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
