Forrest has never wanted to play MCHS. Coach Eli turned that down. The gate money alone would be great for both teams. Forrest principal  tried to push for the 2 teams to play.

I feel given this is a rivalry game they will get one score on us. Likely a special teams play.

It's many of the same players and the defensive coach that lost 120-6 to Moore Co and Fayettevile at seasons end. If the head coach was that bad whoever made the hire should lose their job; if the new coach is this good Region 5 can mail the coach of the year plaque to 37047.

Wow! I figured things couldn't have changed that much.

Cornersville's balloon is gonna burst when they drop this game.

As the week goes on I am feeling a Forrest win. I dont think Cornersville is very good. Franklin might get his, but I could see Forrest winning a 23-13 type game

That is a false statement. Hardly any of the same players were playing either of those games. The Moore County game last year , Cornersville had at least 9 starting defense of players out if not all 11.

Dude, the recaps are on m@xprep$ for everyone to see. Starters all over the field that lined up against us in week 2 in both games.

Y’all kill me. If I was to tell you the Cornersville team that went 9-3 in 21/22 would be followed by a 2-7 22/23 season would you have had the same denial based on the previous seasons record and scores? Yes it can flip that easy! Had many of the same players in 21/22 that were out there in 22/23! 
 

chapel hill is no Moore  county or Fayetteville from last year. You had 1 win more than we did! They beat us hands down and were both deep playoff teams. We did have legitimately 5 seniors out for both games that were starters on offense and defense. Not that matters, they would have beat us with them starting. 
 

yes there are added players that are making difference on the defensive and offensive line. The senior class is playing fiercely and WILL redeem what they lost last year. 
 

I can’t wait for this to play out.
