PrepXtra guy is reporting that LaDue has a broken leg and is done for the season.  

Hate it for him.  

Maryville can't get a break, no pun intended,  with it's returning all state running backs. 

Last year Vaughn, now LaDue.

I guess what hurt's so bad is how hard this young man worked during off season in the weight room and it showed. The other night he reminded me of a 4 wheel drive getting the team started and the rest went from there. He established the run game early which opened up everything else. It was 28-7 when he left and ended 63-14.

Hottest day of the year so be prepared. I watched the game on TV last night because they played it at 7pm but they did take 3 minute breaks in the middle of each quarter and the game took forever to play because of cramps due to the heat. A lot of schools backed games off 30 minutes to an hour for safety reasons. This was one on many reasons I dreaded moving these games up to 7 instead of 7.30.
