Sumner County stadium issues

After much needless debate and hours of stalling, the $15.8 million finally passes to be transferred to the school board.  Glad for the kids and fans of these schools that had to endure this just to get the needed repairs done.

The Booster / Athletic clubs have borrowed money, and now the county is trying to get it paid off for them. Notice which schools are not on this list and are debt free. Also notice the schools getting the most money to help rebuild stadiums are also the same ones that are already by far and large already the ones in debt. Basically these booster clubs bit off bigger projects than they could chew (afford) and now the county should just pay it off? Maybe Gallatin should have got a turf field too and just waited on everybody else to help pay it off.

I am hearing Portland’s is about done.  They had blasting to do at Hendersonville and I have no idea about Beech.

that tradition filled dump needs more than just a turf field.

Which athletic booster club is the one begging to have their huge debt paid off again? And who is debt free? Exactly. Move out of the way, adults are taking.
