They are going to need to pull out multiple big wins somewhere down the line to do so, tough schedule both in and out of region

True, in addition to Brentwood still have tough ones in HC, Beech, and Springfield in the region.  Lebanon and Siegel outside the region.  Defensive and offensive lines need to continue to improve.

I think they'll get by Lebanon without worry, but Siegel could be an interesting one. Brentwood's QB will make a throw or two that has you shaking your head

If Hville makes this close then I’ll definitely be more optimistic towards my team. It’s still early and you never know. We do know Brentwood is good, a top team in 6a. As for MJ and Gallatin there are plenty of question marks. Comparing scores of other matchups is really the only way to assess things early on.

MJ on film can be sporadic.  I guess all teams are that way but I see some reasons for hope.  Not saying Gallatin wins by any stretch but definitely reasons to be hopeful.  I am sure MJ feels the same watching Gallatin’s defense.  If Gallatin has any chance of winning this game, the defense will have to be much better than the previous two outings.  The MJ runningbacks I feel are the best they have seen thus far.

You’re right about the MJ rbs, unfortunately you’re also right about us being inconsistent as well. With the right game plan and execution I could see MJ running away with it. As we see with  matchups like last year, anything can happen. If we stop the run, I believe our secondary is good enough to get a few stops.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
