Greenback will be just fine in 1A. They were outsized and outmanned in this one, which is to be expected. They will be fine in Region play. Nice win by the Indians. Looks like you guys are getting better as the season goes on, which is the goal. And to eat some crow, 2 is playing like a MAN. Much better in the Middle than he was on the edge at Eagleton. He's a player, glad to see it! I loved reading all the crap this week on this thread, hope the trolls roll away.....

#2 is only a Sophomore and boy does he play Hard

He has grown up fast. Don’t hold me to this but this year might be his first year of high school ball. Definitely first year of varsity play. Last week was a break out week. He’s developing a nose for the football and learning it feels a lot better to hit than to be hit. Trolls are gonna troll, ain’t no hill for a climber, we know how to deal and we’ve been there before.

I know, I called him out after his lackluster performance at Eagleton. But, he was playing a lot of edge. This is the 1st game I've seen him play in the middle and he killed it. I was wrong about that young man and I'm glad he moved inside. He's a MAN in there!

Best of luck to the Cherokees, Greenback vs Oneida is still one of the best games to watch.  win or lose.  And i didn't even get to watch the games from the 80's and early 90's

Yes I agree! He finds the football every play. You probably know this but last week he was WBIR player of the week with 19 tackle performance against Polk.

Our coaches got us beat. Why in the world did we stop running the ball on our first possession of the second half. We were doing the same thing Onidea did. But no our coaches decided we needed to pass the ball. Stupid.
