What's going on in Sweetwater with the coach suspension.

When an AD and Principal hire a head football coach, and he has a son that plays football and is in high school, then that kid is going to play over another kid, whatever position they play.   You have to be ready to accept that before you make the hire.

That is an unfair statement. Most coaches want to win and if they have a better player than their son the other one will play.

I’ve read the article, read the posts, and have no dog in this race. But the fact that this man is still teaching at the school tells me everything I need to know about the situation. If he did anything improper he wouldn’t be in the classroom, plain and simple. And if anything it reaffirms the dedication he has to his students, district, and community.

Friend of mine (basketball coach) wouldn't play his own son as a Freshman because he thought that everyone would say "daddy ball" going on. Probably the third best kid on the team that year, and out hustled everyone. Went on to start the next three seasons, and arguably one of the best kids through our program in the last 25 years. You want to win and keep the respect of your team you play your son if (only if) he's the best player in the position.

There's an exception to everything.   99.99999999999999999% of the time, that ain't gonna happen.

When are you people going to say enough is enough and go get Rodney Boruff to be the county director of schools and bring some respect back to the county because as of now there is none and Rodney would clean up this s—- show and let him reassign the principal and AD to the custodian closet. Until someone of Rodney’s character is in control of th entire system things like this will continue.
