I agree our offense was atrocious against the #1 team in the state but the #1 team in the state did have to tack a TD on late to make the score look better against a bunch of water boys :thumb:

It's getting chippy on the T again.  Shall we go back to 2005? :roflol:

They tacked a lot more on Tellico after Tellico pulled most of their starters at half time. The only starters left on the field was the offensive line and a few sprinkled in on defense. York left their starters in well into a running clock in the 4th quarter.

That doesn’t surprise me one bit with that bunch. They gotta pad them stats in hopes of a Mr. Football nomination and to keep them voters impressed  :popcorneater:

York played freshman and sophomores the entire second half.  I know this because my great nephew is a freshman and played the entire second half.  That’s hilarious to say Telico pulled their starters.  The only starters for them that didn’t play was the ones that took off their stuff at the half.  I do believe it was their starting an and rb.  York scored 3 touchdowns second half two sophomores and a freshman. And that’s according to the newspaper stats

Tellico did pull their starters. Second half on offense they had in their 3rd string QB, third string RB, one starter at WR, the 3rd string QB is normally a WR so he was replaced with a young kid. The offensive line is already young with a freshman, two sophomores, two juniors who are in their first year of playing football. The defense had two seniors on the line and the rest were mostly freshmen and sophomores. The entire secondary was freshmen with the exception of one senior who never sees the field. All the linebackers were sophomores. The only kids that didn’t see the field for Tellico were a few freshmen.  Tellico just has 12 lineman and 3 are out for the year.

I was impressed with the size of Telico plains.  If they are that young maybe they have a bright future. They had some big kids and some athletic looking kids.

That’s the hope. Lost a big senior class last year so many of these kids haven’t played. Only 5 seniors this year and two are first year players. We all knew this year would be a struggle especially when #9 went down. He’s a big difference maker.

Back when I played for Greenback in the 80's Tellico was like Copper Basin always big and physical.Always had all state linemen in the 3 class system.
