hearing sg will be full strength so things will be tougher for the dogs

2 key players Radar & Buckner will be out as of today…not sure about the other one??  I do not think that’s going to change before Friday, but if it does, then that’s good for SG because they gonna need a miracle and all the help they can get. Dawgs  by fiddy and I’m not kidding.

Thats 2 good one,s but you fellers are fortunate to have several other good skill players, Hampton has been without their best Athlete all season,  If Hampton had 2 of their best skill kids out, they would be in trouble. Sg being a bigger school helps. Is it Friday yet.

A few newbies and small upfront.  Honestly, the Dawgs have the advantage, edge, what it takes. Some of us have seen recently what both have been putting on the field (performing) and it’s no even close. Friday should be good for you and possibly the rest of Carter county the way it’s looking. I hope the best for SG & GC. More importantly all teams/everyone come out healthy.

Is that the fast RB from last year that’s been out? He complimented your son perfectly. Perfect example of thunder and lightning. Is whoever you are talking about back for this week?

Its not one of our backs ,its SG,s running back. We've been without one kid all season and doubt we get him back. As far as I know, we have everyone except him. Don't really have a clue who will or will not play for SG but we will be prepared regardless. We really don't have the thunder this year but do have a few who can tote it, QB is a good athlete and we throw the ball better this season.

  • Thanks 1

    • I have no clue if Derek tried to talk some since into his dad or not about staying here. All he is going to accomplish is going from the oven to the frying pan. If I were the coach all Ale would freze over before I set back and watched one of my good players leave without a fight.
    • If this is true, South Gibson is taking a big chance. Passing on an experienced coach for a guy who has never coached at the high school level is a high risk move, especially in that district and region.
    • Dorian Eskridge was HVA's best back, 2011
    • Jo Byrns was a very solid team last year. Imo, I thought they presented the biggest challenge for us on our path to winning it all last year. I expect them to be in the conversation and one of the final few teams playing in Murfreesboro
    • I'm not sure you understand anything if you think DB's career and AD's career are comparable.  This is a terrible take.   Not to slight AD, He was a good player and he got better as he matured after high school.   But Desean had over 8,000 yards in HS and was a two-time Mr. Football.
