Congrats Eagles. Y’all played a great game.

Ben rushed 300 on 28 carries  (unofficial).  Broke the 2000 yard mark. Congrats!

Cornersville fans know why we lost that game. :(

If everyone plays Cornersville wins, yes buts let’s not get on here the blame kids or certain individuals.  Mistakes happen , they are all still learning and maturing. Just have to learn from it and move on to Makenzie. This season is far from over if the coaching staff and the boys buckle down this week and get a good game plan together.

Another thing that didn’t help we played behind the sticks all night too.

May have been the hardest I’ve seen Ben run all year, he took 11 people to tackle him on almost every run.

Agree and did not do that. There are a whole host of reasons for loosing, I could spout off about 6 without stuttering.  I simply stated we know them. Eagleville played a great game, not taking anything away from them. We beat ourselves last night.

Ya he was tough to bring down, as he always has been. But our defense may have given him some big runs but they buckled down when it counted a d stopped him many times in key spots. He is a darn beast!! But our team came to play as we always do at home. Those are the firat points this year given up at Talon Field. Lets go whip some region 6 booty!!!  Hahahaha

    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
