If you are one of the teams with a ? be sure and do your own research. Don't depend on the brain trust in Hermitage to figure it out correctly.

Never forget the Late Great Sullivan South debacle of getting left out of the playoffs until the last minute, and then they sent them all the way to Columbia Central from just outside Kingsport.

4 hours and 44 minutes.

317 miles.

I assume murvil has to win to make playoffs unless HVA beats Cleveland, is that correct?

Nevermind…I think Murvil is in.

The only thing the Ads enjoy more than mercy-ruling murvil in baseball is beating them in football. I think it will be a close game Friday. They all seem to be

Another year I might agree with you. Maybe if Maryville had nothing to gain but Hunt will keep them focused and hungry

Looking at the T$$AA chart it predicates on the head-to-head matchups. My Scenarios look the same for that.

IF Farragut wins then they will have to go to the 3rd or 4th tie breaker (which includes total points scored etc.) to determine who is 3rd and 4th. That is a crap shoot for all 3 teams then.

For those "?" scenarios, Farragut would be the odd man out; overall wins would knock them out of the 3-way tie. Then it would revert back to head-to-head for Maryville and Cleveland. Maryville would be #3 and Cleveland #4.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
