Congratulations on big win over Shelbyville, I had that one picked totally wrong

Question?

Tullahoma announcers were complaining on radio about the “train horn” and blaring music while their offense was on the field. How do you feel about it? They were stating TSSAA rule violations, do you know if it’s any violations?

I for one think it’s one of the best Friday night venues and see no problem.

Also….the train horn had no bearing on FC or Tullahoma loses

I don't know about the regulations, this is going on at several places across the state not only Page. Tullahoma's announcers aren't the only announcers that I have listened to that have complained about this. Often times, announcers have to broadcast from the rooftops, near PA speakers, so I can understand there point.

Neither Tullahoma  or Franklin County had no chance against Page, regardless of sound.

This is the game of the year in Tennessee, I tell you what. Makes me want to take off work and drive dang ole north for the weekend. The Patriots have been playing complimentary football and they are really on a hot streak these last few weeks. The last time these two played I watched it on that NFHS app and Page absolutely controlled that game. I’m curious to see how Centennial will respond this time. I hear they didn’t take Page serious last time and learned the hard way. Can’t wait for the rematch.

Because I'm naturally a fan of Page, I am rooting for us!! But, I think the rematch may go a little different but hop not sideways for us. I'm sure Centennial will be up for this one!

Again, I've said all season long we are stout in the middle but, I do think we have the speed on D to hang with anyone. I'm wondering if Centennial will come out and try to attack the outside and deep or, if they will see if they can get the sweep(s) going?

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
