One of the sides wants SS, I don't think the other side has it down to 1 candidate just yet, but the names that have been mentioned here are in the hunt and the mix.

I have heard a bunch of names mentioned  on the T but that is all the names being considered? I have heard Stanton Stevens , Scott Cummings, Brad Taylor and Lee Warren applied for the job from reading this thread. There has to be more people applied?

And this is a football discussion. Name another current HFC in KCS that is non-faculty (besides JJ). As long as I’ve been in the area, that has not been the case.

I haven't heard much around this job outside of those names. It doesn't seem to be an attractive job with how quiet it is has been. The Job has been open for a while now. Has anyone heard about interviews?

Might want to consider Jeff Miner who just resigned at Hardin Valley. I think he would do quite well at Central as they have a lot more athletes than HVA and he is very good on the defensive side of the ball and he has some guys he could bring with him who are good coaches.

Miner isn't interested.  He will end up in the private sector.

I think he would be a good fit there. From the interview he did with 5star it didn't seem like he was too anxious to go after another job. I have heard he would come here if Stanton Stevens got the job because of their ties at Oak Ridge. Everything is still just rumors though.
