Will Central be the next KCS to hire a non faculty HFBC? And as far as who this former DC @CHS who eventually got fired by Coach Jones @ BHS who @DFL has proclaimed is not a good coach and his job would be in jeopardy if CHS hires Lane seems to be a rabbit hole that no one should try to go into.

Be interesting to see what direction they go.  JJ's hiring at Bearden really has changed the eligible pool of candidates in Knox County.  

Important decisions to be made by Central's new AD, Principal, and Knox County.

According to KCS policy, they would only be able to hire a non-faculty candidate if no full-time employee with a teaching license who meets the qualifications were available.

This is a great job to have.  If they get a head coach who can hire good coordinators and bring in good players...this dog will hunt boys!  Be like watching a Rambunctious Road Runner smoke a coyote or a Wacked Out Wildcat hunt an impaired squirrel...or even watch a Willingly WOLVERINE attacking a Buckeye!  Lets see who can ---read---

There were plenty of full time employees with a teaching license who met the qualifications for the BHS job a couple of years ago. How did BHS hire a non faculty HFBC then. But you have to go over to the BHS football 2024  discussion to hash that one out.

That is a great question. The procedure manual outlined by the BOE makes it very clear that non-faculty hires can only be made when no full time employee with a teaching license is available. Not sure how they got around that one to hire JJ. But don’t see Central doing that here to replace NC.

They really have no choice. Bryson Rosser isn't walking back thru that door.  Got to rekindle the feeder program relationships. That will take time.
