2024 1A Season

Not sure about the west. But the usual suspects are who you can expect from the East. The road will go through South Pittsburg. After that, it will be Gordonsville, Clay Co, Whitwell, Coalfield, and Oliver Springs battling to try and knock SP off.

The Dark Horse in the East I think will be Chatt Prep. I was impressed with their athleticism in Round 1. They gave us all we could handle that night. If they can get a good idea of what they are trying to do with the X’s and O’s I think they can probably have the best chance to give SP a real shot. They will be able to match up athletically better than anyone imo

Chatt Prep had more talent than anyone in the east this year. They we’re just young.

Anyone in the East other than you guys. You guys were far more talented than any team on our schedule. Chatt Prep was probably #2

I’m not sure.. if you count every single athlete they have it’s impressive… then they had a massive line as well.

I think schedules are set for next year.After that,hope LC drops Dyersburg,TCA,Union City unless goes to AA,and Central.Add Fulton Co ,Fulton City,.maybe Perry Co.,Middleton even if longer travel.Or keep Union City and Central and pick up Ky schools not far away.Hopefulky get those easy wins like others.

Don’t forget about OS. OS is youthful. Gordy is also always a contender in East as well. Don’t know a lot about what west teams have returning.

I know the Jellico region is terrible but more so in the spirit of looking terrible this year to looking much improved was more of the point of that example.

i got ya yeah they had a great turn around from last season, really curious if jellico can keep it up

I have no idea because when u look into it outside of cloudland who does a good job or reloading the other teams in that region are always very wishy-washy.

You just never know about 14-17 year old young men.. Do they work hard to get better or go home and be lazy. Good football teams get better with hard work.  I love talent and you have to have it, but give me a player with hard work ethics any day and they want quit on you...
