Dyersburg vs Upperman

Who wins this one and why? Should be great game

I'm pulling for Dyersburg, but Upperman looked so dominant against South Gibson. Dyersburg will have to stay out of their emotions and match their intensity.

Good luck to both teams today!  That Upperman game was hard to watch last night.  I’m not sure I have seen a team only score 14 in a game before at State.

A state tournament semi final team only scores 14 points, I figured 4 classifications watered it down, dang not a good look for Tssaa.

Proud of all the west tn teams but that is a very good point.  GC played Greenfield and South Gibson 2 times each this year all 4 games were blowouts.   Those 2 teams being in the state semifinals was a big surprise.  Kudos to their coaches for getting them there.

14 points! SG beat Dyersburg,  we will see if Dyersburg coach has learned anything and adjusts to tape, if Upperman gets a lead it will be over early and ugly quick. Upperman must have perfected the Jim Boeheim zone. 14 points wow!

Congrats to upperman but has any team ever had an easier road to the state final? I will say dyersburg by 10-15.

As a South Side alum, I'm pulling for the team that beat us.

A small consolation for us to lose to (perhaps) the state champs.

Go Lady Trojans!

Pulling for the West Tennessee teams to do well in the 23-24 title games just like we did when we went 3-4 in 22-23!

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Upperman so we are playing with house money at this point. If we pull this off we have to start talking about coach McWilliams as one of the best.

Upperman will have to handle the pressure that Dyersburg put on the ball. if they can handle their press and the pressure that they put on the ball then they will win this game.  Dyersburg is no joke. They are very good. Upperman will need to play like they did against White County in the region finals to win.

Dyersburg is really athletic. We have to play really good fundamental basketball in this one. Limit turnovers, box out, and hit free throws. We will be the underdogs.
