Four players and two coaches were sick. To pull this one off under the circumstances was unbelievable. 2) As I left the arena the Upperman bus was on the lot near the gathering of Dyersburg fans. When the Lady Trojans exited the Murphy Center, Upperman cheered and blew their bus horns in celebration of the first state title for Dyersburg. I mentioned earlier that I stayed in the Upperman team hotel this week. I have so much respect for your coach, staff, and student athletes. They were incredible ambassadors for your school and community. I see you been churning the late night oil on social media. Lol.

LOL if that was LA or WC that beat them, I can assure you the reaction wouldn't have been cheers.
mg
Amazing to see a team that has their key starter and several others suffering from food poisoning the night before, and still “gut” out a win. Says a lot about the character of these young ladies. Been a long time since I could say this…….Them Trojans got “MOXY” noun INFORMAL•NORTH AMERICAN noun: moxy force of character, determination, or nerve. when you've got moxie, you need the clothes to match" Edited March 10 by mg

Our radio announcer has been calling games for Dyersburg High School for 41 years. Last night was only the second state title game he had called over that stretch. He finally called a state championship. And to be able to sit beside him and hear the call was a moment I will never forget.

I bet her parents are very proud of her. Lol.

You forgot Macon and York also. heard it all from that bunch “You just got lucky we were the better team, or the refs screwed us” then when they win it’s “you were out coached, or we won in spite of the refs” and never point out that Putnam has school choice and they have 6000 kids to pick from then it is “build it and they will come” or win with what you have and do not worry what we do” Edited March 10 by Khall555
