State at MTSU vs Tn Tech

Which venue would be better as a host? Both good arenas centrally located, Tech’s gym looks better and more updated than MTSU when watching the D-2 tourney a couple weeks ago.

TTU. Murphy center has become a dump. Hoop is much nicer. What was up with all the floors being do sticky?

If any conversation is going to be had, why not consider a venue west of the Tennessee River? Believe it or not, it would be ok for the west to host an event.

Why not ETSU beautiful part of the state.  I honestly don’t think the question is about location because MTSU is the geographical center.  My only thought is MTSU needs to upgrade the building.

I do not disagree with that.

In my opinion, each of the grand divisions should have an opportunity to host.

West Tennessee doesn’t have the place to host a basketball state tournament. UT Martin would be an ok place to host, not really better than MTSU but ok. But Martin doesn’t have to hotels/restaurants to have everyone there. 
Jackson has the hotels/restaurants but lacks an arena that would hold it. Oman needs to be demolished and Union is the next biggest thing and it’s too small. 
TSSAA would rather not have it than use Memphis. That and you are at the extreme edge of the state.
