If it rains, it seems like it would benefit Campbell County with their running game.

From my understanding they never would up his pay and he more or less felt like they screwed him over, so he got gone. Might have been more to it than that, I don’t know, but just what I’ve always heard. 92 can probably expound upon that a little bit more. Anyway, he was by far and away the best coach they’ve ever had, by a long shot.

He left to be the defensive coordinator at Maryville for more money, and also the baseball coach for a while. He was a very good coach in my opinion, but I'm a little biased lol

I remember Clinton having a really good team, but dropped off after he left. I heard about a time when the a Clinton students tore down a goalpost at Oak Ridge after a win over them.

They beat Powell in the 91 season opener at their place and we ended up at Vanderbilt for State. Brentwood Academy was stacked and it beat us badly, but still proud to have got there.

 Seems like there was another East Tennessee opponent that easily beat Gallatin that year too. I’m sure you know who it was

Yep, I was there! I remember we got there right after the Powell game and somebody told us they got hammered by BA. Felt bad for em. Good memories of that 1991 OR team.

Clinton s defense held Scott Co to just 72 yards of total offense.  Clinton needs to do a better job of holding on to the football. If they do, I feel like they should win against CC.
