37-14 final!

Rest of region play should be a cake till game 10! Roll Tribe!

You really can't fault DB on anything tonight.       Other than that Johnson City team it will be smooth sailing in 6A.     I'm not convinced DB can beat Elizabethton but from what I saw tonight that may be a very good game.

I hope they saw comments on these posts and it fired them up. This is a completely different team from the Greeneville team. GVille smacked some sense into em. Now they’re playing football. And having #7 means a whole lot. Baller. As Head ball coach of Kingsport you’re gonna be under criticism. I like the response so far. This is what DB is supposed to be doing.

In my mind this makes the Greeneville game an even harder pill to swallow. No doubt DB has been a different team since that loss. So why? I don't think they would have beat Greeneville tonight, but they probably make a game of it. The coaching staff has done a much better job the past two weeks but that still don't excuse what they did against Greeneville. And I've been a DB fan long enough to know not to be to Gettie over winning a couple games in a row. This school is famous for putting everybody on cloud 9 then raining on the parade.

Well I got this one right on my picks this week. One serious question I want to ask and that's about the band. Maryville is three times the size it was when I went there and the band had around 65 kids give or take at the time. Half a century later we still have the same number of kids in the band and maybe less. How in the world do they get that many interested to have a band that big and we're still the same size. I'm not no band expert and really I never pay attention during halftime while sitting there counting that 20 minutes off like most people do before leaving work on Friday. Just Curious.
