I'm just curious... how can you make any type of score prediction when you just said you didn't know anything about Franklin???

well, it's very hard to make such assumptions, but i did based on what you said about franklin and by looking at their numbers. jeff appears to be to deep for franklin. but i could be wrong.

Guys stop going around and around with the J-man, he is just talking and blowing smoke. Just look at Jeff Co. schedule for 2003 and then you will see why he is talking so much trash. The only team they play is DB.

son, you are wrong. jeff also plays a very good morr. west team, who has an excellent chance of winning the 4a title this yr, a good sevier co team, a good science hill team. furthermore, they play two other teams that should finish at or above .500, bearden & rhea co.

east TN 5A ball is fairly weak as is.

thank you, like i said. but i guess that jpats dont realize that probably 6 outta the 8 teams could finish above .500 in region 4, but i guess that dont matter. but i mean jeff co could schedule some tougher opponents....how bout maryville, i know they are 4a, but supposedly could beat oakland and riverdale...

if a boro team meets jeff in the semis, how about you and i sit together and put up a little money on who will win. right now i would put my month's pay (about $1500) on jeff co beating any boro team. can you do the same?

jpat5, your a moron. if we're 3 deep at all positions i'd like to know where all the people are at. and shiv will not start as a freshman, he's got alot to learn. he might get some pt, but he will not start. and if we dont win the state this year your gonna look like a big idiot building us up w/all this paper champ crap. the games are played on the field every friday night, not on paper.

shiverdecker will start at wb, period. at rb we are 5 deep; at wr we are 3 deep; at lb we are 3 deep, at db we are 3 deep; on the offensive line we are three deep except at guard; we are 2 deep at dt; and we are 3 deep at de. the only other place we are not deep at is qb; at all positions mentioned above the depth is very good quality. jeffcopatriot, are you scooter's dad? i think so. are you afraid that shiverdecker might just get more playing time at rb than your son? i think so. by the end of the yr he and tyler brown, not scooter & jennings, will be the big-time playmakers, PERIOD.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
